Terms of Service
By creating an account or using the platform at jackedupgaming.com ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
JackedUp Gaming runs Majic Realm, a shared open world played in the browser, currently in open beta: it changes often, and what changed is listed on the changelog. One account holds a token balance. Tokens are purchased in USD via Stripe at $0.10 each (10 tokens / dollar). Playing is free with an account; tokens are spent only on items from the realm's store and when you commission something new in Majic Realm. The Builder tier is an optional monthly subscription (see below). Tokens never expire on the platform end; they have no cash value once purchased and are not refundable except where required by law.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to use the Service on your own.
- If you are under 13, you may use the Service only with your parent's or legal guardian's consent. At sign-up we ask for your month and year of birth; for a player under 13 we email a parent, who gives consent from their own account (see the Privacy Policy). Until a parent consents, the account cannot play, chat or upload anything.
- A parent or guardian who gives consent agrees to these terms for their child and is responsible for the child's use of the Service. They can review, change or delete the child's information, or take back their consent, at any time.
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- You must not be prohibited from receiving the Service under U.S. law.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret.
- One human → one account. Multi-accounting to amplify rewards is grounds for ban.
- You may delete your account by emailing Jacksonmilesmorris@gmail.com.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, or use unauthorized client modifications.
- Harass other players, post hate speech, or share illegal content.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service to host or distribute malware.
Violations may result in token forfeiture, account suspension, or permanent ban without refund.
Tokens, purchases, refunds
- Token purchases are final. Refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis for unauthorized charges or service outages exceeding 24 hours.
- Tokens have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be redeemed for currency.
- Saved payment methods are stored by Stripe and used only to process top-ups you initiate (including the in-game low-token "quick-buy" prompt, which always shows the amount before charging).
The Builder tier (a monthly subscription)
- The Builder tier lets you build out in the world beyond your own lot, within the limits shown in the game. It costs $9.99 a month (USD), shown before you subscribe.
- It renews automatically. When you subscribe, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method that amount every month, starting the day you subscribe, until you cancel. If the price changes, we will tell you before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
- Cancel any time, online: open the store in the game, or jackedupgaming.com/realm/builder, choose Manage, then cancel. Canceling stops the next charge, and the tier stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for. You can also cancel by emailing Jacksonmilesmorris@gmail.com.
- A month already paid for is not refunded if you cancel partway through it, except for unauthorized charges or where the law requires a refund.
- If a renewal payment fails, the tier stays on for 7 days while you update your card with Manage; after that, it ends.
- When the tier ends, what you built outside your lot is frozen for 30 days. Subscribe again within those 30 days and it comes back as it was; after that, it goes back to your storage. Nothing you built is deleted.
- A player under 13 can subscribe only with a parent's consent, and the receipts and notices go to the parent's email.
- Stripe emails a receipt for every payment. Your card details are held by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Content ownership
JackedUp Gaming retains all rights to game content, source code, art, and the platform itself. User-submitted content (custom avatars, character names, in-game messages) remains your property; by submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display it as part of the Service.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but the Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may take the Service offline for maintenance, upgrades, or in response to security incidents. Outages over 24 hours may qualify for token credit on request.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JackedUp Gaming is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for direct damages is capped at the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraud, chargeback abuse, or extended inactivity. You may terminate your account at any time by emailing the address below.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed 14 days before taking effect and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the change. Continued use after the change indicates acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
