Art made with AI tools
Some of the Realm's art, animals and animated effects are made with AI tools, by our own art foundry: FLUX.1-schnell by Black Forest Labs (Apache-2.0) for pictures; LTX-Video 0.9.8 distilled by Lightricks (LTXV Open Weights License 0.X) for the animated effects (flames, lanterns, water, sea foam and arcade screens); Qwen3.5-122B-A10B by the Qwen team (Alibaba Cloud) (Apache-2.0) for designing the animals our own code builds and animates (goats, ducks, pigeons, crows, gulls, herons, owls, squirrels, frogs, crabs and the Realm's own creatures), and for checking the art foundry's work. Every piece is checked before it goes live, nothing with a real person's face, a brand or somebody else's character gets through, and we can take any piece down at any time.

Voices
The Realm's NPCs and bot players speak some of their lines aloud. The speech is made on our own voice server with Kokoro by hexgrad (Apache-2.0), misaki by hexgrad (Apache-2.0), using the voices of Kokoro-82M by hexgrad (Apache-2.0), which its makers trained on permissive and non-copyrighted recordings (public domain, Apache/MIT-licensed audio and synthetic speech), per its model card. No voice here imitates a real person, and nobody's voice is cloned.

Sound made with AI tools
Some of the Realm's sound effects and ambience - creatures, nature, footsteps and everyday sounds - are made with AI tools, by our own sound factory: MOSS-SoundEffect v2.0 by the OpenMOSS team (Apache-2.0) for sound effects and ambience: creatures, nature, footsteps and everyday sounds; Qwen3.8-27B by the Qwen team (Alibaba Cloud) (Apache-2.0) for writing the descriptions and names the sounds are made from; CLAP (larger_clap_general) by LAION (Apache-2.0) for checking that every sound matches its description. Every clip is checked before it plays - its loudness, that it does not clip, its length, that a loop has no audible jump, and that it sounds like what it is meant to be - and we can take any clip down at any time.
Jokes and The Realm Daily
The realm's characters tell jokes, puns and riddles from these collections, and The Realm Daily shares the day's space pictures and fun facts from these sources; Wikipedia's words are always retold in our own. Every item is checked to be friendly for all ages first. NASA, NOAA, the USGS, the Smithsonian and Wikipedia do not endorse this game.
