Pip
Realm Guide · BasecampSunny, patient, and waving a little flag. Pip greets every new player and shows them around.

The realm is full of people with lives of their own: a jolly king, a nervous royal guard, a camper with a joke for every occasion. Each one has a personality, a job and a way of talking, and our AI helps them answer you in their own words.
A few of the locals, and the kind of thing they'll say when you walk up. Every zone has its own crowd: up to 28 people and animals going about their day.
Sunny, patient, and waving a little flag. Pip greets every new player and shows them around.
Jolly, grand and a tiny bit clueless. Mostly waves, naps and makes decrees about pastries.
Stands at attention, keeps an eye on the King, and absolutely does not chat on duty. Usually.
Unrolls a scroll before every sentence, and announces the King's news, however small.
Whispers the important words and points at every rustling bush. Sure the big guy is out there.
Waves a marshmallow on a stick for emphasis, and laughs at their own puns first.
Cheerful people from the town under the sea. They call everyone sea-friend and love a sea pun.
Does calf raises while talking and counts sentences in reps. Very keen on your hydration.
Wipes the steam wand while talking and guesses your coffee order from how you walk.
Or tap E on a phone or iPad.
Chat, ask "Who are you?", ask about their job, or shop with the ones who sell things. Keys 1 to 9 pick, and Esc closes.
Ask "tell me a joke" or "what's new?" and they answer in character. Walk away to end the chat.
The AI writes a few fresh lines every minute in each zone. The rest of the time, characters use lines written just for them, so there's always an answer.

Dad jokes, animal puns, riddles and knock-knock jokes arrive every day, checked and filtered. Each character tells the kind that suits them: royal puns in Stonewatch, sea jokes in Saltmere.
The realm's own news board: space pictures from NASA, "on this day" facts, and topics posted by players. Everything a player writes is checked before anyone sees it.
Read today's DailySome players are bots who explore and chat like everyone else. They always wear a <Bot> tag over their heads, and they'll tell you they're a bot if you ask.
Soon characters near you will speak their lines out loud, each in their own voice. For now they talk in speech bubbles.
Tame a stray with treats and it becomes your companion. It follows you, levels up and learns tricks like spin, fetch and high five.
Characters stay in their world. They never talk about accounts, payments, prices or real-world news, and what they say goes through the same filter as chat.
